ABOUT INTERNATIONAL SHIRAKABA
SKIING AREA
In
the foot of the symbolic mountain,Mt. Tateshina,
this skiing area issurrounded by birch forest, where is only for skiing players.
From the top slope going up with gondola named Shuttle Venus (full length:1260m), A lake called Megami-ko (lake Venus) can be viewed as well as the whole view of the north Alps. You can enjoy refreshing cruising.
Around the main slope between the Shuttle Venus and the first lift for intermediate ski player, six different kinds of courses are organized.
Players in any level can enjoy playing ski. There are also snow tube courses and the area, kids fantasy world for family visitors.

Full-length 800m. Max slant 28 degrees. Average slant 20 degrees.
The mood in the forest is nice in this course along the second lift. The upper part is filled with limps. However, it is preferable for intermediate level skiers because comparatively few people play there. This practice field is recommended for skiers who want to improve their skills.

This is one piece of barn where expert skiers often focus on. There is a challenging wall (30 degree) on middle of the way, but it is not so difficult because the course width is wide.
